Darjeeling First Flush 2012 Hillton (Ambiok)
Description
The first Spring harvest from the area of Indian Darjeeling situated by the northern frontier with Nepal. An excellent tea before an important meeting. Description: A preponderance of tiny yellow-green uniformly rolled leaves over dark leaves and a strong “flowery” aroma. . This is a very fresh tea, especially if enjoyed in the late Spring just after harvest. This tea is incredibly flowery with mildly euphoric effects, virtually unrivalled in fragrance and texture. A sparkling, amber-orange color in the cup.
Preparation
Put 6-8g of tea in a tea filter, place in a warmed 0.4 l pot and pour on boiling water. The tea is ready after 2 ½ minutes. If very fresh, this tea will yield a second infusion if steeped a little less long the first time.
